SUMMARY

Mugisa Solomon Byakutaaga is a distinguished Lecturer in Cyber Security and Forensics at ISBAT University. With a robust background in forensic computing and cyber security, he has collaborated with prestigious organizations such as INTERPOL (HQ), the Rwanda National Police, and the Uganda Police Force to address complex financial and high-tech security challenges. His areas of expertise encompass digital forensic computing methods, cyber security and crime, ethical hacking, forensic psychology, and risk assessment and management.

Byakutaaga holds a Master of Science in Forensic Computing from Coventry University in the United Kingdom and has completed advanced training in security , computing and digital forensics & cyber security at the Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in Algeria. His academic credentials are complemented by his extensive professional experience.

Byakutaaga is deeply passionate about technology and has a strong commitment to empowering African youth in digital computing and forensics, including cyber security. He is driven by a vision of fostering a safe and secure digital environment in Africa through education and mentorship. His teaching and lecturing aim to inspire and equip the next generation of African technologists with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate and protect the digital landscape.
