Summary
Dr DV Ramana is a Data Strategist-Consultant –Empiezo and Wissen InfoTech also Chief Academic Advisor for Emerging Technologies to an Established Engineering College having rich experience in Research, Academic, and Industry with strong organizational and Management capabilities and Building High-Performance Teams.
Completed Ph.D. from National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR Lab-NGRI) Hyderabad and additional qualification in Master Business Administration (Systems-Business Analytics) from Osmania University. Also from CSIR Lab-NGRI involved in large volume of Antarctica Data analysis, design, pre-processing, presentation,Modeling and interpretation of helicopter borne aeromagnetic large volume of data collected around the India stations Dakshin Gangotri and Maitri in Antarctica done to obtain gross estimates of the sub-glacial topography and first order information on the structure & geology below the glacier to identify the mineral deposits. A total of about 3500 line Km of data, covering an area of 10,000 sq.km were analysed,
interpreted and a report was submitted to Department of Ocean Development, (New Delhi – Govt. of India),. Dr DV Ramana worked in Corporate organizations like Multinational Companies ( Baan Institute of Pvt. Ltd -ERP Product organization, Hewlett Packard (HP), Convergys), Domestic Companies (Wissen InfoTech, Applabs Ltd, Blue Star InfoTech Ltd., APTECH Ltd) and Visited countries like Kingdom of Thailand, United States of America (USA), and Uganda. Industrial experience of Twenty years in various countries (USA and Kingdom of Thailand) for successful delivery of Development and Support projects to the various clients.
Dr.Ramana is a Visiting Faculty for Department of Management and Commerce in Osmania University(India),Adjunct Faculty at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Ahmedabad(India) and Visiting Professor, ISBAT University(International Business, Science And Technology University) , was also visiting Faculty for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Osmania University, shared sessions in Gitam University( AP,India), KL University (AP,India) and Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management (SIDTM, Pune Maharashra,India), and SOIL Institute of Management, Gurgaon (Delhi NCR,India).
Dr.Ramana shared Different subjects on Data Science (Business Data Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics,HR Analytics, PMO Analytics, Telecom analytics and so forth), Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning with using Python and R Programming and Management subjects, such as Statistics for Management, Technology Management, Operation Management, Management Information system(MIS), Software Engineering, Business Research Methods, Research Methodology, Operations Research, Requirement Management and Software Project Management and so on As a SIG Big Data Analytics-CSI India – Executive Committee member for CSI Hyderabad shared and mentored to the Internship Projects and to Start-up Company in executing the Data Science Projects. Dr.Ramana was also a part in the design and Development of the Data Science and Big Data course content for various course educational programs, Shared Series of Training sessions on Data Analytics to National Institute of Smart Governance (NISG)-Digital India, New Delhi. Associated with Series – Trends live in Program in Doordarshan (DD) Yadagiri TV Channel on “Data Science and Data Analytics” and furthermore Start-up Trends – Impact Funding and Start-up Phases – Doordarshan– Yadagiri TV channel. Engaged with Course Design for 14 Colleges and Universities, 26-Webinars, 70-Invited Talks-{(National Research Institutes (8), University Engineering Colleges, and Business Management Institutes (62), Business Schools (GITAM University, Symbiosis, Pune, KL University, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTU – Hyderabad and Kakinada), and so forth)} with publications of International and National Journals and also successfully achieved international Software Certifications in his record.
