A dynamic and results-oriented IT professional and educator with over 10 years of progressive experience spanning banking technology, telecommunications, and academic instruction. Brings a strong blend of industry expertise and teaching ability, having delivered complex technical solutions at leading financial institutions in Uganda before transitioning into full-time academia. Passionate about equipping the next generation of technology professionals with both theoretical foundations and practical, real-world skills. Areas of teaching interest include DevOps, Cloud Computing, Python and C/C++ programming, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and any other Computer Science disciplines.

Service

  • Currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at ISBAT University, Kampala, Uganda (July 2025 – Present), delivering lectures to diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate students across a range of ICT disciplines.
  • Prior to joining ISBAT University, held a senior technical role as Channels Support L2 (E-Banking) at Stanbic Bank Uganda (September 2022 – June 2025), responsible for the management and support of all customer-facing digital banking channels including ATMs, USSD, Smart App, and Internet Banking, interfacing with the Finacle core banking platform and related projects for the Bank.
  • Served as IT Applications Support Officer at BRAC Uganda Bank Limited (September 2019 – September 2022), administering the Orbit-R core banking system and leading key digital transformation projects including SMS Banking, Mobile Banking, and Agency Banking rollouts.
  • Worked as Regional IT Officer at BRAC Uganda (December 2016 – December 2018), providing IT infrastructure support, staff training, and system administration across 19 branches in the Fort Portal region.
  • Gained foundational industry experience at Smart Telecom Uganda (2014 – 2016), progressing through internship and staff roles in the Core Network and Products departments, with hands-on management of network nodes including HLR, MSC, GGSN, SGSN, and SMSC.
