SUMMARY

As a radiology professor, my career objective is to excel in teaching, research, and clinical practice, inspiring and educating the next generation of radiology professionals. I aim to develop and implement innovative curricula, leveraging cutting-edge technology and evidence-based practices to foster a deep understanding of radiology principles and techniques. Through scholarly research and publication, I seek to advance the field of radiology, improving patient outcomes and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge. I also strive to mentor and guide students, residents, and colleagues, sharing my expertise and experience to promote professional growth and development. Ultimately, my goal is to leave a lasting impact on the field of radiology, shaping the future of medical imaging and patient care.

SERVICE OF WORK EXPERIENCE

IMr.IlavarasanP, Program Coordinator and Assistant Lecturer for the Bachelor of Medical Imaging & Bachelor of Laboratory Technology in the Faculty of Health Sciences at ISBAT University, Uganda from September 2024 Onwards

Previously Coordinator of Allied Health Sciences and Assistant Professor in the College of Allied Health Sciences with a specialization in Radiology & Imaging Sciences at SPCAHS&RI Since October 2023 to August 2024 . Previously Worked as an Assistant Professor /Coordinator in Department of Radiology at Annai JKK Sampoorani Ammal College of Allien Health Sciences from November 2020 – To August 2023. I have nearly 4 years of teaching experience to bring a wealth of academic and clinical expertise to the classroom.

I have served as a Resource Person for various Faculty Development Programs & academic programs in Workshops & Conferences – International, National, State & Regional and I have been an External Examiner for more than 4 universities & Colleges

As a National Council Member of the Indian Society of Radiographers & Technologists (ISRT) I actively contribute to advancing the field through collaborative initiatives, educational programs, and professional development opportunities. In my role as a committee member, I collaborate with fellow professionals to organize events, workshops, and seminars that empower radiology technologists to excel in their careers and stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies.

Also served as a Board of Studies Member in various universities for framing a curriculum for Allied Health Sciences courses.

As a part of my educational service, I have been a Visiting Faculty for various colleges & universities.

I work with a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and patient care and I aim to inspire the next generation of radiology professionals while contributing to the advancement of medical imaging knowledge to enhance student learning and professional development to meet the dynamic challenges of contemporary healthcare.
